Today’s episode started off with Meg and Holden having the same old argument. Meg is dating someone Holden doesn’t like, Lily is interfering, Holden can’t cut the brotherly cord…yada, yada, yada. Holden was busy trying to convince Meg that Damian is bad for her health while Meg was busy trying to convince Holden that Lily still loved Damian. Meanwhile, Damian and Lily were busy trying not to get busy with each other. Damian confessed his undying love for Lily and although she outwardly denied it, I could see she was dying to be with him. Poor Holden. Anyway, Lily told Damian to leave and Damian told her to leave him alone forever. Damian left, frustrated and pent up, and rushed home to Meg where he pledged his untrue and undying love for her. The new couple had sex while Damian fantasized about Lily.
Luke asked Holden if he could go along on the trip to Kentucky with him. Lily then turned it into a family affair fueled by her guilt over Damian. Lily was playing the good mother while her daughter Faith, who had witnessed her passionate kiss with Damian, announced to Luke that she hated Lily. This is all a prelude to Holden’s upcoming car crash which will have devastating consequences for everyone.
Henry and Katie were up to their old tricks again and this time, it was to try to figure out if Audrey killed J. Stanhope or not. Katie kept Audrey busy while Henry went looking for clues. Henry did find some clues and later followed Audrey to an insane asylum to confront her about J. Stanhope. Audrey had no choice but to confess that J. Stanhope was really James Stenbeck. She also had to confess that James Stenbeck was Henry’s father.
The rest of the episode was devoted to Barbara trying to force Paul to check himself into an insane asylum. Emily and Paul went along with the plan. Upon arrival to the asylum, Paul and Emily knocked Barbara out and locked her in the car. Paul discovered that the asylum was totally empty and decided to take closer look around. After walking through the empty corridors, there was good old dad, James Stenbeck, sitting in a wheelchair in a stairwell. Paul uttered the word “dad” before the show went off for the day.
