2010 Spells Doom for OLTL

Of all the things that I cannot fathom about soaps is that people in charge are clueless as to what fans want. TV Guide Canada reported that basically OLTL will be shelved in order for AMC to stay alive. But why? Are these people not watching the same shows that we are? What the hell is so great about AMC. Yes, I watch it. Yes, I like it. However, if you gave me a choice between the two, I would have to pick OLTL. Will the show be canceled? Nothing would surprise me after the Guiding Light cancellation.

    One Life To Live is PROFOUNDLY superior to ALL MY CHILDREN. The characters are more interesting, the storyline more riveting, and on and on. I have been watching them BOTH for many, many, years. There were times were one was better than the other. But for the very longest time, OLTL has surpassed AMC a thousand percent. I am THISCLOSE to ending my long relationship with AMC, but I adore OLTL. Canceling OLTL to save AMC is a mistake. I hope this is NOT true. I wouldn't THINK of watching AMC if OLTL were sacrificed in its behalf. NEVER.
