Today, “the mood” and for once, Brad was willing to play nice. After showing some concern over the baby, Katie and brad hopped to the action before, of course, they were rudely interrupted by the ring of a celly telly. It was Henry, panicking over the arrival of his mother Audrey. Henry invited the couple over and they dutifully ran right to his aid. While Katie and Brad shared small talk with Audrey, Henry hurled insults at her while gulping down the martinis at a rapid pace. Brad and Katie eventually left and Audrey tried to bring up the good times. The key points were when Katie told Henry that his mother was a doll to which Henry responded “Chucky is a doll too!”. Priceless!
Jack confronted Rosanna and Craig about taking the kids to Chicago. Craig responded that it was no big deal and that the kids had fun. Rosanna jumped to his defense, saying that they only went so she could protect Carly’s business interests. Apparently that was supposed to be suitable to Jack, but it wasn’t and made his disapproval obvious.
At the farm, Sage was questioning Janet about Carly’s whereabouts and why she couldn’t talk to her. After a short convo, Sage told Janet to stop trying to keep her from her mother. A letter arrived at Rosanna’s from Carly to Sage and Rosanna ran to the farm to give it to Sage. Janet stopped her, telling her it was better if Jack saw it first. When Janet wasn’t paying attention, Sage saw the letter and read it. She then decided to run away to see her mother since no one else would let her see her. While waiting for the train, Sage ran into Teri, who conned her into going back to Oakdale. Jack filled Sage in on the Carly deets and apologized for not telling her the truth. Later, Janet and Jack discussed the possibility of Parker and Liberty living under the same roof again. I smell teenage trouble!
