CBS.com has confirmed that Julianne Moore will return to ATWT for one episode as Frannie. No Sabrina? We’ll have to wait and see.

EW.com and Daytime Confidential are reporting that Julianne Moore is in serious talks to return to ATWT. Could Frannie and Sabrina be coming home after all these years?

It was announced before the cancellation of ATWT that ex-GL alum Daniel Cosgrove has been cast on the show, character T.B.A. Regardless of the current status of the sudser, Cosgrove is set to assume the role of Dr. Chris Hughes, last played by the very sexy Dylan Bruce, in March.

According to Soap Opera Digest, Guiding Light alum Kurt McKinney is set to join As the World Turns for a short term role. McKinney will portray Ellis, a devious business partner of Craig Montgomery, starting in late February.

We Love Soaps is reporting that Valentina DeAngelis has landed the part of Faith on As the World Turns. Soap fans might recognize DeAngelis from her role as Carmen on GOSSIP GIRL.

Soaps.com is reporting that actress Sarah Wilson has been chosen as the new Liberty. She will be making her first on-screen appearance in mid-March.

ATWT’s Paul Leyden is on his way back out of Oakdale. Simon will exit next week, and he will not be taking Katie with him.

Daytime Confidential is reporting that hottie Eric Sheffer Stevens has joined the cast of As the World Turns as Dr. Reid Oliver. Stevens’ first air date is January 19.

Nelson Branco reported in his Suds Report (TV Guide Canada) that Paolo Seganti has told some that he will be exiting his role as Damian Grimaldi on ATWT in January. That’s too bad if it is true. I would have liked to see him stay until the very end. Boo!

We Love Soaps is reporting that Ashley Marie Griener has taped her final scenes as Faith Snyder on ATWT. Does this mean the role will be recast? I would say it is highly doubtful considering the circumstances…
