General Hospital has cast Lisa Waltz to play Melinda Bauer, Kiefer’s mother. Bradley Cole has been cast as Kiefer’s father. Waltz first airs on March 17.

According to Soap Opera Digest, Michael Learned is joining the cast of GH for a short-term story arc. The four-time Emmy winning actress begins taping in mid-March and will appear onscreen in early April.

ABC Soaps in Depth is reporting that Robin Christopher is returning to General Hospital as Skye Quartermaine beginning March 31!

According to TV Guide Magazine, General Hospital has a new intern and she’s also a new Quartermaine! Annie Ilonzeh has been cast as Maya Ward, the great granddaughter of cantankerous jillionaire Edward Quartermaine (John Ingle), and will hit the air March 31.

Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Dahlia Salem (ex-Sofia, AW) joins the cast in the recurring role of Federal Prosecutor Claire Walsh. Salem’s first tape date is January 28, and she first airs on February 24.

Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Constance Towers, the wicked Helena Cassadine on GH, will be returning for February sweeps to stir up the evil in Port Charles.
