411 on Soaps

Normally, our Hot Chick of the Week goes to a soap character who has done something commendable, such as Sami Brady’s double bitch slap on Days, and Chloe Mitchell bobbing for apples on Y&R. This week, we are switching things up. OLTL’s Kim Andrews, the better half of the Slutsky Twins, deserves the honor. Why? Because she is very, very good at what she does. Last week, Kim set out to get to Clint all to herself; at least for 90 days. The goal of course is to get rich quick. Watching Kim seduce Neville, Nigel’s cousin and conveniently placed doppelganger, was amusing at best. In the end, the girl got what she wanted. To a point. The game isn’t over yet. Kim doesn’t seem like a quitter to me, however I do think she could go off course of her original plan when she meets Kevin. My personal prediction is that Kevin and Kim will have an affair, but that’s a story for another day. On this day, we honor Kim and her portrayer, Amanda Setton. Thanks!

We haven’t done a Hot Chick of the Week feature in a while because soaps have been dormant in the diva department. That changed for us this week on Days, when Sami and Nicole finally came face to face to deal with the baby switch debacle. Allison Sweeney rocked her scenes, bringing raw emotion to every line. The tears brimming in her eyes were real and made her scenes with Ari Zucker just that much more intense. We know we are running it into the ground, but that double bitch slap Sami served up to Nicole was H-O-T! We hope Allison Sweeney doesn’t receive the Lucci treatment when it comes to Emmy noms next year….

We came across this beautiful pic of Lesli Kay on set at Venice the Series and decided she was, indeed, our hot chick of the week. Working three jobs is hard to do, and Lesli pulls it off effortlessly!

On ATWT this week, Katie was held hostage and forced to give birth to her baby boy in a warehouse. Next week, her husband is going to die. Terri Columbino does the grieving thing quite well, and only she can make giving birth in a warehouse both funny and heart wrenching at the same time. Hence, Terri is our pick for Hot Chick of the Week!

We decided it’s only fair to include a weekly feature about a chick that is both hot in nature, and hot on the screen. This week, we are featuring the amazingly beautiful, talented and oh so sexy Katie Cassidy. With no further ado…

When Chloe came to town, most of us couldn’t stand her. Her conniving, lying, and trickery had us convinced that this bitch was made of pure evil. Somehow, Chloe has been redeemed and many fans, including myself, have overlooked all of those characteristics. We know she still loves Billy and is still married to him. We also know that Chloe is involved in a very hot relationship with Chance that has quite a bit of potential. Problem is, as hot as Chloe and Chance are, he is still a virgin. Chloe does not hide her disappointment, often responding with more sultriness. The 411 Hot Chick of the Week is a brand new feature and we thought Chloe was the obvious choice for our first hot chick because she put her city life in her Prada and went to a state fair of some kind with Chance. The most surprising part wasn’t Chloe actually going willingly to such an event, but the fact that she actually had fun and made it fun for Chance as well. Come on people, the girl literally apple bobbed for that man.
