411 on Soaps

This week in Llanview, Mitch continues to get the upper hand after luring Brody, and ultimately Jessica, into a trap. After Jessica receives a letter from Mitch requesting a meeting, Brody sticks Jess with a guard and goes to meet Mitch himself. While Mitch has Brody busy at the docks, Nurse Charles will sneak into the Lord mansion, drug Jessica, and kidnap her! Even more interesting, I read on Daytime Confidential that Jessica will soon be gaining yet another personality, one named Melissa, who will go back to high school with Starr and Langston and the gang. Messica is fun to say, so that is just okay with us!

Soap Opera Digest and Daytime Confidential are reporting that Bree Williamson is set to reprise her role as Brandeis, the high priced but highly educated hooker. Taping started yesterday, but no air date announced. We will keep you abreast of the situation. Thanks!

Ok. So the mysterious green house visitor on OLTL wasn’t actually Forbes March (ex-Nash), but his skeleton instead! Poor Jessica will be sure to revert back to her multiple personality ways as more and more of Mitch’s evil deeds come to light. We can’t wait!

At least she will be for one night! Look for Bree Williamson (Jessica Buchanan) to mix it up with Blair on the November 2 eppy of Gossip Girl on the CW…

Rumors have been surfacing for a while now that Roscoe Born would be returning as one of his characters. What show? That was up in the air. Terrible Tom on Y&R? It looked like it might go that way with the current Ryder/Kevin situation going on. It looks more and more like it will be Mitch Laurence from One Life to Live. So is that who has been haunting Jessica? Why Mitch would act like Ghost-Nash is beyond us but if this rumor is true, we will be happy campers!

With so much exciting stuff going on right now, how can OLTL not add more cast members, right? Or even better, returning characters!

Dan Gauthier will be reprising his role as Kevin Buchanan this fall. We believe the stint will be short, but hey, what do we know?

Kathy Brier will be reprising her role as Marcy McPain. Marcy will be in Llanview for a short run of episodes this fall.

Both Amanda Setton (Kim) and Nicholas Rodriguez (Nick) are staying on as members of the OLTL cast. We like this news. How long? Sadly, we do not know….

Erika Slezak has signed a new multi-year contract. That’s good because it looks like things are about to get bad for Jessica again.

Here’s what is coming up in Llanview in the fall:

The Blair-Todd-Tea drama will continue. Who knows who he will pick this time? I am leaning towards Tea.

Todd will put both his daughter and granddaughter in harms way.

Jared will become the focus of the strange happenings surrounding Jessica when John becomes involved in finding out who is behind it all.

Dorian and Viki will run for mayor. This should be fun. David will have a pivotal role in this storyline!

Rex and Gigi may not be able to “fix” their relationship.

Schlyer’s “love” for Gigi could take on a dark side.
