Arianne Zuker returns to Days of Our Lives this week as Nicole Dimera after the birth of daughter Isabella and maternity leave. Look for Nicole to resurface on March 11.

Daytime Confidential is reporting that John Callahan is back on set at Days of Our Lives this week reprising the role of Dr. Baker.

Sadly, it is time for Arianne Zuker (Days) to go on maternity leave, which means that poor, misunderstood Nicole is headed to the big house. Quite frankly, no one is more deserving of the trip. The good news is, Arianne has taped eppies up to the beginning of January. The bad news is, well, there is none. Arianne, and Nicole, will be back!

We haven’t done a Hot Chick of the Week feature in a while because soaps have been dormant in the diva department. That changed for us this week on Days, when Sami and Nicole finally came face to face to deal with the baby switch debacle. Allison Sweeney rocked her scenes, bringing raw emotion to every line. The tears brimming in her eyes were real and made her scenes with Ari Zucker just that much more intense. We know we are running it into the ground, but that double bitch slap Sami served up to Nicole was H-O-T! We hope Allison Sweeney doesn’t receive the Lucci treatment when it comes to Emmy noms next year….

We are not sure who decided to breathe so much life into Days all of a sudden, but we are sure that we love it! The baby switch reveal was one of the best in daytime history. Allison Sweeney brought it like only she can as Sami confronted Nicole about her devious machinations. Nicole denied all until her anger got the best of her and she stated that she would never hand Sydney over, no matter what. Sami had all she could take, and bitch slapped Nicole across the face. A stunned Nicole could only stand there and take it as Sami hauled off and bitch slapped her again. Nicole was eventually arrested and almost all of Salem has turned against her. Next week, Nicole will pull the ultimate heist and steal baby Sydney under everyone’s noses. So, this is getting GOOD. As if the show needed more excitement, enter Carly (in the form of Crystal Chappelle) and Vivian, and the humor factor is out of this world. More good news? Lucas is finally coming home from rehab! Look for Bryan Dattillo to start airing again on December 3.

Our November Skank of the Month award goes to Nicole Dimera (Days) for many reasons. Nicole lies, cheats, and manipulates her way in and out of situations on a regular basis. Recently, Nicole’s actions are coming back to haunt her and she is losing everything all over again. With each scheme she pulls off, Nicole gets more sadistic and evil. Last week, she broke bad and went all cougar on Chad in yet another attempt to cover her duplicities. And to think Nicole used to be our favorite. Yes, we too remember the good old days of the Eric and Brady love triangle.
