Some soap opera secrets take months to come out and the same can be said about the big reveal on GH that Dante is Sonny’s son and an undercover cop. Having said that, this secret spilling was definitely worth waiting for. Maurice Bernard delivered as the scorned mob boss who had been turned on, but we knew he would. In the role of Dante, Dominic Zamprogna showed us the pain he felt over the past and the determination to finally take down the man who had caused so many others pain. He also showed us how torn he was over the bond he had built with Sonny and his family and we could see that he was sad it that it would be coming to an end. Zamprogna delivered the performance of his soap acting career and I look forward to seeing what he has in store for the future. The revelation that Dante is Sonny’s son is going to impact many of the character’s lives as well as the show as a whole.

GH fans rejoice! This week, Sonny senses something is up when Olivia tries to get him to skip town. Sonny will consider retiring his mob crown to Dominic, unaware that Dante is his son. Michael will discover the truth about Dante’s paternity and attempt to put the kibosh on his reign over Port Charles. All this secret keeping is hard work, and Dante fears that Lulu will become a casualty of all the duplicity. Next week, Dante will finally tell Lulu that he loves her, but thanks to Michael’s shenanigans, will it be too late?

I will never tire of James Franco’s character on General Hospital. I know GH fans are tired of him, but I find him incredibly amusing. Franco made a good point on yesterday’s episode when he said that while Jason was busy getting arrested for a crime he didn’t commit, Franco himself was stealing women all over town, and no one even noticed! Franco captured Carly and tied her to a chair and the usual damsel in distress begging began. Franco mocked Carly, laughing in her face. However, the most amusing part of the conversation was when Carly basically said “you’ll never get away with this” to which Franco responded:

“Oh, who do I have to screw to get off this movie?!”

Priceless.

Jolivia fans might as well stop the DVR this week as Sonny and Olivia continue to grow closer. So close in fact, that the two ex lovers will share a steamy kiss. Not only are we going to be pissed, but so will Dante when he saunters in to talk to his mama and finds her in a lip lock with the mob boss. Oy Vey! I can’t imagine that Johnny isn’t going to find out about the kiss, especially after Olivia herself admitted to him that she still had feelings for Sonny. Could this be the final nail in the Jolivia coffin?

Jason bought Liz’s house? I thought Emily did? Am I wrong? Somebody help me out here. I am really sick of seeing Lucky get played, so can we just let him walk in on Niz and get this over with, please? Of course, I kind of want the Niz sex to happen too. What a predicament.

Carly, had a baby, in a cabin, spent 2.5 seconds in the hospital and she’s already out and about? WITHOUT the baby! To go see Jason *roll my eyes*, so sick of this dude. Oh so concerned about Michael and his future, um, HELLO Robot Hitman! (Thank you Claudia!) How about your own kid? Oh whatever, I am not going to get started on that. However, I did LOL when Carly asked him if he thought Spinelli would like her cheesy snacks (Doritos) and he looked at them and said “No, not his brand.” Almost favorite line of the day goes to Carly: “See this is why I hate Elizabeth.” That’s my old Carly coming back. Love her Liz hate!

Was Lulu for real today? She seriously needed to be slapped. It’s times like this when I go back to saying Olivia needs a daughter because Dante needs a sister that can do that for him, Kristina doesn’t count. Sidenote: LuDa had their first fight…say it with me now “Awwwww”…..

Was that the first Lulu/Lucky scene? I am withholding commentary on that…for now.

Now to where my heart lies: JoLivia, my babies. The ish has hit the fan and it’s not pretty. To be completely honest, all of the Johnny/Olivia/Sonny scenes made me very uncomfortable. It’s like they are trying to make Johnny out to be some psycho abuser, which he is not. The last scenes with him coming to Olivia with flowers (!) after finding out that Dominic Pirelli is Dante Falconeri, her son and an undercover cop (thank you Lulu) quite honestly freaked me out. I am very interested to see how tomorrow goes.
Line of the day goes to Olivia: “I love you so much” to Johnny of course. Why? Because to me that was the first time it seemed like she actually meant it.

Honorable mention goes to her line about breaking a frying pan over his head and pushing him down the stairs if he hit her. Yea, that one made me LOL.

Oh and how about that Franco sighting? I think I am officially excited for Franco time!!

Another JoLivia-less General Hospital for me. I am not a very happy diva right now. As for the rest of the show, was anyone else a wee bit confused over Edward Quartermaine wanting to throw an engagement party for Liz and Lucky? As for Liz, I’m going to need her to stop beating herself up already and hook up with Nikolas. How cute were the Sonny/Dante scenes? They made me smile! Can we reveal this secret already please? I want to see more of this. Dante telling Lulu she’s special and then kissing her is swoon worthy. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I already dislike this Lisa chick and that ADA. Of all couples to mess with, why Scrubs? Damn soaps. OK and WTF was up with the body double of my girl Claudia?? This ends my short and sweet rant on yesterdays show, stay tuned for todays! Peace!
